What Are Senescent Cells?
As we age, some cells stop functioning normally without being eliminated by the body. These cells, often referred to as senescent cells or “zombie cells,” are now a major focus of healthy aging research.
Over time, their accumulation may contribute to chronic inflammatory signaling and cellular stress.
Polyphenols such as fisetin, quercetin, and EGCG are currently being studied for their potential role in interacting with these senescent cells.
How Does Our Fisetin+ Work?

Fisetin, quercetin, and green tea extract (EGCG) are among the most studied plant compounds in the scientific literature on senolytic agents, molecules currently being investigated for their interaction with senescent cells. Fisetin in particular is among the most documented natural flavonoids in preclinical research related to markers associated with cellular senescence. This growing body of research inspired the formulation of Fisetin+.
Encouraging exploratory findings
As part of internal exploratory work led by Samuel Fortin, PhD, the combination of fisetin, quercetin, and EGCG demonstrated encouraging preliminary findings related to markers associated with cellular senescence and oxidative stress.
These preliminary observations add to the growing scientific literature surrounding these polyphenols, although they do not constitute proof of clinical efficacy in humans.
